What happened? Was it a few token shootings that scared people away? Compared to 10-12 years ago, nightlife is non-existent in The Strip. I know there is Altar Bar, and all ages club Fate(formerly The Zoo in the old Metropol location.) What else is there that caters to the dance crowd? I remember people having to park all the way up past Benkovitz on weekend nights. I came up with twenty and I am sure there are more. Metropol, Rosebud, Whiskey Dicks, Touch, Donzis, Tequila Willies, The Boardwalk, Have a Nice Day Cafe, Banana Joes, Bar Pittsburgh, G Spot, Sanctuary, Chemistry, Stratus, Mynt, Plutos, Prive', Donnie's, Sopranos, Ludic. Here are some of the many places that no longer exist in The Strip. There a few other bars on Penn, but not much on Smallman anymore. They do not get near the crowd that they used to on Friday and Saturday. To me it is only a shadow of it's former self as opposed to ten years ago. I keep hearing about the Strip nightlife on this forum.
